From the moment we presented our tickets, we found that all members of staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The ship itself is something else and the royal areas were extremely luxurious. The areas for the crew were fascinating and often in stark contrast to the luxury areas. The whole ship was a fantastic window into a past world that was historic and illuminating. The tea room offered a range of teas/coffees and scones/cakes - all of which were of the quality you would expect.

An interesting and full morning trip Well worth a visit However there are awful road works around the shopping centre ( where the ship is based) which can have an impact on taxis and buses . Check before you go Also it was quite crowded at times, Fewer visitors at a time would have been better . No chance of social distance.

We had a lovely experience in the Britannia tea rooms , we were served by a lovely young man who was polite and kind . I’m afraid we didn’t get his name but he told us he was from India and he was studying engineering in the Edinburgh university. Could you please give him a o from me and my granddaughter . We hope to return soon .
