Overall rating

This was a 2-day trip. Our guide and drivers are excellent. Un-fortunately the Garden Palace has been closed for years and we were not notified beforehand. We could only take pictures outside it. And due to it was the Egyptian Christmas on Jan 08, the Library was closed and again we could only take pics outside of it. We ended up finished early in the hotel around 2pm on the first day of our trip. We was then left in the hotel. However, the quality of the hotel is just so and so and there's nothing to do around the neighborhood (a quite dated anddirty area). However, the Citadel (castle) was good to visit and the experience on the 2nd day where we visited the War Museum in El Alamein was good. The 2 lunches incl. are of good quality. Overall, we did enjoy our trip.

The trip followed a standard schedule, which makes sense for such distance in only 3 days. However, our guide Mohammed had some nice extra options and was very flexible. A must is for sure to float in the salt pools and the unbelievable mineral hot spring in the sand dune desert outside of Siwa. Thanks Mohammed for selecting our tasty Siwa dates, even if they were out of season. The guide had great knowledge of the locations, covering El Alamein WW2 sites and the temples and tombs in Siwa. We recommend OceanAir travel, but suggest to go rather for a 4 day trip, as the distances are far.

We were picked up right on time and had a very comfortable drive from Cairo to Alexandria to meet our guide Karim. Karim was fun, entertaining, full of interesting information. He made our two days interesting and lively. The trip was exactly as described and we enjoyed it very much.

Fares and Amin were our dream team at the oasis. They know each other and are well connected. A great experience! Any time!

Guide and Driver were great and accommodating towards our 2 and 4 year old.
