1. Cancún: Chichén Itzá, Cenote, Valladolid, Lunch and Tequila

Dive into Mayan culture on a guided day trip with optional hotel transfers from Cancún or Riviera Maya to Chichén Itzá, named one of the New 7 Wonders of the World for being one of the world's best-preserved ancient cities. Enjoy a Mexican buffet and tequila tasting, and stop at Valladolid and a cenote. The fun will just get started with a panoramic visit as no visit to the charming town of Valladolid, famed for the ornate, 16th-century Convent of San Bernardino of Siena, and the baroque San Gervasio Cathedral. Then, a visit to the area would not be complete without a stop by a cenote, a refreshing, enchanting underground sinkhole, sacred to the Mayan people. Then, enjoy a Mexican buffet lunch and a tequila-tasting experience. Finally, once at Chichén Itzá, follow the guide while learning all about the most important buildings. From the awe-inspiring Pyramid of Kukulcan to the ruins that once housed tens of thousands of Mayans, the Pyramid of El Castillo or El Caracol, this visit is filled with rarely heard stories, incredible details, and stunning photo opportunities. Discover why the huge city played such an important role from the Late Classic period (600 AD) into the early part of the Post Classic period (1200 AD), and why it remained a huge center of pilgrimage.

One of the cheapest tour to Chichen itza. The pick up was on time and they sent the pickup time one day before through email. Though the language given in the tour is Spanish, they speak English as well. Edwin was really good. They didn’t stop the bus at Valladolid. Its just a panoramic view of town with in the bus. The buffet lunch was served at 9.30 am. Thats the only drawback of the tour and the food was not that good. Overall good. Best price for a 12 hour tour

The tour was nice overall, comfortable bus, and our guide Edwin was very nice and knowledgeable, expect a bit of delay if doing hotel pickup, but no problem overall. The best parts were as expected Chichen Itza and the Cenote. The meal is the least exciting, but we knew ahead of time from other reviews, and did not come for the food. I would do it again, it was a great tour.

This is a great value tour and Chichen Itza makes up for an incredible experience! Just keep in mind this is a large shared tour, meaning lots of people along with you, some time for pick up an d drop-off, and some stops at places like a souvenir shop

This was a fun and informative tour that starts very early but worth it. Great included buffet lunch, the cenote was clean and beautiful, overall I highly recommend this entire tour.

amazing tour. definitely go for the early 5am start. Super Frank was amazing, very knowledgeable. definitely bring food/snacks too!!
