What people are saying about El Yunque National Forest

A really nice journey in the nature. Things to keep in mind: 1) It's very muddy. Bring shoes that are not slippery! 2) Once you reach the end destination then the returning part is through water (river, slides, cliff-jumping). I think it was an option to also climb back down if you really wanted to, but that is way more challenging. However if you're afraid of water or don't want to slide down rocks and fall/jump into water, then I wouldn't recommend this hike to you, because it kind of is the main point of it. 3) It's a workout, so it's not going to be super easy. You're going to climb rocks and steep hills. (I am not the fittest person in the world and I'm also not the biggest fan of heights, but I went along with everything and it turned out to be super amazing. I really loved every part of it, even though my feet were killing me the next day. :D)

Hector was amazing! He catered the trip well to our group of nine staying in PR for a bachelor party. He answered a lot of our questions about the rainforest and often stopped to show us cool findings on the hike. Hector ensured we had a fun time - he took us to a street food park/bar area and gave us a lot of recommendations for our trip. The hike itself was challenging at times but very fun. If you’re in shape, this hike will be a manageable experience. Overall, had an amazing time and Hector was awesome in making it such a fun one.

THIS WAS LIT WOULD DO AGAIN. Sebas was our guide and he made the experience so much more enjoyable. You can tell he really likes his job and was super energetic made me more excited for the whole day. Whenever I comeback and sign up for this activity I would want Sebas again. On god he was the best and he deserves a raise man is the really built for this life.

My wife and I were first time visitors to Puerto Rico. This was our favourite experience of the trip! Adriana and Luis were amazing. They picked us up from Isla Verde, exactly where and when they said they would. They were very knowledgeable and respectful of the forrest. I would go again in a heartbeat!
