It was 113 degrees, a lot hot but I loved the boardwalk and really enjoyed the casinos..I was a little disappointed we didn't go across the new bridge at Hoover Dam though..Next time I will go when it's a little cooler.. Was too hot to stay out on the boardwalk this trip..

    2. From Las Vegas: Ghost Town Wild West Adventures Day Trip

Discover the Wild West and ghost towns that dot the desert landscape. Choose from a shared or private day-trip departing from Las Vegas and uncover the mysteries of these ghost towns. Your guide picks you up and you head straight out into the desert. First, you'll stop at the Hoover Dam—that exquisite masterpiece of engineering. This enormous dam holds back the mighty Colorado River, and provides power for a huge portion of Las Vegas' bright lights, as well as residents in 4 states. We soon leave modernity behind, and head into the old mining town of Chloride, Arizona. Here you can see a still functioning "ghost town" that has been operating since the 1860s. The 250 residents who call these streets home are very proud of their history, and are happy to chat with you before you enjoy your deli style lunch. After filling your belly, we drive the iconic Route 66 to a small Ghost Town in ...

All three towns were interesting in their own way. The guide knew the history and geography of the area and told it well.

Not a good experience with the company.

My sister and I waited outside the hotel from 7.45 for 8am pick up. At 8.20 I went inside and asked the receptionist to ring the tour company was told the coach would be with us shortly, 5 minutes later the young man came out to say the tour was cancelled and grey line wanted to speak with me. I went to the phone and was offered a refund or the trip the day after we chose the latter. This same trip had been cancelled several years ago and I let it go thinking it may have been a one off. When we finally went on the tour it was in fact a good day out with a very lovely and charming driver (Michael) I think. But had we not phoned we would have been waiting with no word from the tour company to say the original day was cancelled has had happened previously. I have since seen an email to say it was cancelled but as I didn't have wifi on holiday I do think they could have phoned the hotel

Pleasant day in the desert

Bus trip a bit long to go, a town on the edge of Colorado in the middle of the desert, old casinos, the shopping center is a bit abandoned.

Trip was a perfect time length. the driver Dwayne kept the trip very alive with his humor.

Inexpensive had fun will do it again. Had a nice driver name Willie

It was very well organized and the bus was comfortable.
