What people are saying about Ellis Island

An excellent trip! I traveled with my two kids (13 & 2) and had a fabulous day. Our guide was brilliant, she was super engaging and knowledgeable. My son said he wished she was his history teacher at school lol! The process was easy. We met her by the pier (She wasn’t easy to identify as I was looking for an orange sign to match the app colours) and had a brief tour of the park before making our way through security and on to the ferry. The views from the ferry were stunning. We took a leisurely stroll around Liberty Island with our guide telling us interesting facts with pictures. We visited the museum and had lunch at the cafe which had a good selection of hot and cold foods. We then went to Ellis Island by ferry, again our guide had pictures and interesting facts. We explored the island before heading back to our hotel. This trip was fun for both my kids and our guide made it really interesting. I’d highly recommend this trip you won’t be disappointed.

Our guide Russell gave us information about the Statue and Ellis Island that you just don’t find in the books. Since this was our first time and we wanted knowledge and not just the experience of looking a guided tour with Russell was enjoyable, educational and an experience we will remember forever!

Our guide Alice was so informative, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I am taking other friends on the tour again and I hope Alice is again our guide. She is great!
