What people are saying about Ellis Island

We went to see one of New York’s biggest attraction, Statue of Liberty. We took ferry from Battery park to Ellis island. Security was just like airport security. We took water, snacks and some food with us. Overall, it was amazing experience, the museum was fantastic- there are three small screens inside the museum which was very helpful in understanding the history behind Statue of Liberty- make sure to watch them. The audio guide was free but we ended up returning them half way through the trip. We didn’t buy tickets for access to the pedestal- you have to buy that in advance. Please make sure that you check the ferry destination on your way back- we ended up in New Jersey and had to go back to Ellis island and then take the right ferry.

This is the best way to get to see your destination. The app is excellent in storing the passes, giving up to date details on the conditions and also a map that connects to your google to find the location too. Really enjoyed it and very easy to use. My husband and I used it for the Empire State Building, the Edge, Madame Tussaud’s, the Ride, Harbor Lights cruise and finally cycling in central park. So easy to utilise from the app and well recognised. Loved it and thank you, thoroughly recommend.

A pleasant trip overall. We were able to start early, before the crowds came late morning.

Very good to pass is no problem except the language to understand each other Excellent

Well worth the visit, so much to see and learn. Very well organised.
