This was our second time back to the Borghese but the first time with a guide -- which we would recommend for first-timers. Seth was excellent: knowledgeable, personable, and clearly passionate about art. Although the focus was, as anticipated, on Bernini, other important works also noted and explained. We enjoyed the small group experience, especially as it was easier to manage in a crowd (Christmas-New Year-Epiphany holiday time).
This gallery if so full of art that one hardly knows where to turn or what to look at. Our guide was so full of information and answered every question we asked with knowledge and enthusiasm.
Great guide. It is an efficient way to go through the gallery given the 2 hour time limit. Her expertise on the art was enlightening. Would not hesitate to recommend the guide or the tour.
The guide was passionate ! very accessible , kind , patient , really a pleasant human being. We were so lucky to have hime as a guide And most of all he was very very cultivated !
