It is a long day, but well worthwhile as a lot is packed in. I was really lucky as I was the only one on the tour that day so had Choji, my guide, to myself. His English was excellent and he was a really interesting guide. He covered not only details about the sights on the way but also happily discussing pretty much anything about Peru that I wanted to know. Great to get out of Lima and see something of Peru. Trip to the Ballestas Islands was memorable - getting up close to the sea lions and birds. Desert and oasis impressive too. Sand buggying very much like a roller coaster. Lunch and tasting at the winery were good too. Our guide there was really informative and funny. Also very generous tasting session of eight different piscos. A well put together tour.

We really liked the visit to Ballestas Island, the oasis was not bad and the pisco tasting was very good. Very timely collection. The trip is in a Van and we were a group of 4 friends plus two other tourists. The guide was very friendly but lacked integration, animation and atmosphere during the moments of travel and between events. It does not include snacks or breakfast or lunch (no food) which is very inconvenient because leaving at 4 am in the morning of Lima and not knowing where to have breakfast we did not like. Snacks are not very expensive and could be added to improve the service. Definitely the great flaw during my 4 days in Lima was the bad or limited service, people without vocation of service, attention with bad tone, bad way, assuming that the tourist knows everything.

Amazing tour, first stop was Balestas island and even if it's not season for watching wild animals, there was huge amount of birds, we could see some penguins too, second stop was Huacachina where the weather was amazing and I enjoyed the sandboarding and buggy ride, last stop was winery with pisco tasting, I learned something about how they are making pisco traditionally for hundreds of years and tasting was really good too, I had really good tour guide who told me plenty of interesting informations about Peru and the whole tour was fun
