Steph was an excellent guide! It was my first time on a Segway but she made me feel very safe. We’d been on two other tours already and I was worried the tour might be a bit repetitive, but it wasn’t at all. She had lots of interesting stories and showed us some stuff that was a bit off the beaten path. Our group really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend to others!

  • Munich by Bike: Half-Day Tour with Local Guide

    2. Munich by Bike: Half-Day Tour with Local Guide

Starting from the Hauptbahnhof (Central Train Station), this half-day bicycle tour is a great way to see the city of Munich. Guides are local Munich residents who know the best routes, the best stories, and the best spots to stop for a quick drink. From Odeonsplatz, you'll cycle through the picturesque royal gardens to the Englischer Garten, Europe's largest city park, where nudity happens to be legal. Then the tour stops at the famous Chinese Tower beer garden for refreshments. Cruise along the lovely banks of the river Isar, which leads back into the heart ...

We loved the bike tour through Munich! Our tour guide (sorry we can't remember her name - young lady with brown hair who studied anthropology) was great! She gave detailed information about the city - we learned about the origin of Munich, explored important landmarks, and even stopped at a Beer Garden to re-energize. With this bike tour, you get to explore more areas than you would be able to on foot. Would definitely recommend!
