The easier tour for less experienced riders follows the wide, deserted beach of Diabat towards the south, in order to have lunch (which was carried in the saddle bags) in a shady place after about 3 hours of riding, followed by a rest and then return to the ranch by a different route through the Mimosa and Tuja forest. What people are saying about Essaouira

The daytrip with Akil from Marrakech to Essaouira was just great! Akil dropped us at the meeting point directly in front of our Riad and brought us some water to start the day. He gave us so many interesting informations during the ride and was very kind. After a few stops in between, we spent 4 hours in beautiful Essaouira and enjoyed this amazing city by our own. Akil catched us at the arranged meeting point and drives us safely back to Marrakech. I just can recommend this daytrip to everyone, it was such a nice day! We wish Akil all the best, he was the best driver we could imagine for this trip.

Be prepared for a long day. The bus ride got interesting as we got closer to the coast with rolling hills, greenery and interesting sites (goat tree and villages). Essaouira was a very interesting town, especially within the walls with its many shops, markets, and sites. The beach was a nice place to relax and swim or watch groups play football. Seafood was the specialty as it was so fresh.

Brilliant experience. Be careful of photographer I paid for one picture and he took money for 2 saying he took 2 pictures. I was not happy. Overall everything else was amazing.

Well run. Excellent guide and driver. Great combination of tour and free time to explore.
