After a brief safety information session, and after having adorned yourself in protective gear, you will have a tour test to get used to your quad bike and the safety rules. Once this is completed, your 3 hour quad bike tour will begin. Your tour will begin by crossing Oued Ksob to the ruins of the Sultan's Palace that accompany you to the wild beach of Diabat. Following this you will navigate through the magnificent dune fields, driving on both sandy and rocky paths to overlook the Atlantic Ocean.

After a few minutes on the road, cross the Oued Ksob and the ruins of the Sultan's Palace that lead you to the amazing beach After visiting the beach, navigate the magnificent dune fields, driving on the curvy sandy dunes. Discover life in Moroccan caravans and nomad camps on a one-day tour overnight. Explore the regions surrounding Essaouira and Diabat. Climb aboard a dromedary for a three-hour tour past the Oued River, the sandy beaches opposite the island of Mogador, and the ruins of the Black Sultan's Palace.  Cross the forest filled with thuya, mimosa, and eucalyptus to reach the large Omar dunes and a small fishing village. After a break near a freshwater spring, where free-range cows drink, return to Ranch de Diabat. Travel then by car to the Berber camp, situated about 30 minutes from the ranch within a picturesque landscape. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with traditional mint tea and Moroccan pastries to enjoy under the tent equipped with mattresses and low tables. Settle into the wonderful location right by the sea, among beaches and cliffs, before witnessing the beautiful sunset from the camp. For dinner, the chef will serve an authentic Moroccan meal including meat, fish, or vegetable tagine, Beldi bread, and seasonal fruit. At bedtime, get comfortable in your tent in the heart of Souirie nature. The next morning, wake for a Moroccan breakfast of bread, cheese, orange juice, coffee, milk, and tea. Drive back to the ranch where you will have the opportunity to take a shower. Conclude the tour with hotel drop-off in Essaouira.

During this tour, discover the surroundings of the Ranch de Diabat in peace. Just a few minutes from Essaouira, the ride begins at the Ranch de Diabat. Continue on to the dunes, where the former home of the Black Sultan is hidden. You can roam the long beaches, overlooking the Portuguese castle on the island of Mogador. You will climb the dunes and pass by fishermen's cottages near a fresh water spring, where the animals can refresh. The route back to the Ranch de Diabat takes you along a small path through the heart of the forest. The dromedary is a quiet and friendly animal that will allow you to enjoy this tour with family or friends.

After your welcome at the Ranch you will get first safety instructions for the use of the quad and the right safety helmet will be chosen for you. Then there will be a short test driving to give you safety on the quad. Our quad rides are adapted to the participants, so it is also possible to participate with children. After that we start along the river towards the ocean. In the bushes on the banks of the river there are many different species of birds, which we can observe during a short break. Arrived at the ocean, we head south over the wide, seemingly endless sandy beach. You will pass by fresh water springs where various animals such as cows, donkeys and dromedaries often refresh themselves. We reach the Omar dunes, which are a pleasure to climb by quad bike. The southernmost point we will reach is Cap Sim; we are between 2 seas: Two seas border each other, one made up of high dunes and the other of waves, a real magic. The dunes here seem to be constantly moved by the wind. We will return on a winding road more inland, passing through the mimosa and Tuja Forest.

This full-day activity is suitable for horse riders of all abilities, from beginner to advanced. Starting from the Ranch de Diabat, your guide will take you on a route that first runs along the river. Stop to see the ruins of the Black Sultan’s palace before riding along a sandy beach. Admire the views of the Portuguese castle on the island of Mogador. Riders of intermediate or advanced ability will have the option of a longer tour, heading a bit inland. After a picnic lunch at noon, you’ll ride along the sand dunes, past fishermen’s cottages, and to a fresh water spring. The tour continues through a forest and then returns to the ranch. The pace of the tour will be adapted according to your preference and ability.
