Amazing! The animals appeared well cared for which was something I find particularly important. Mustafa was a wonderful guide, he has an interesting way with the camels, and it was nice to see them being treated well. He also had great knowledge about the camels, and brilliant photography skills! Thank you!

It felt surreal to be riding on a camel. The camels surprisingly did not smell, meaning they are well-maintained by the ranch. They are safe and calm; just make sure not to stand behind them. My guide Mostafa was nice. He didn’t talk much (maybe because there’s not much to talk about as a tour guide normally would), but whenever he did, he shared interesting information or anecdotes about where you are. Mostafa is, however, an awesome photographer! So ask or allow him to take your pictures. Once you reach the beach, it is very windy so don’t wear or bring anything that may easily fall off. You may also want to wear a jacket. The route is scenic enough but quite monotonous (you’ll just be seeing the same plants, going around the castle, though the beach is nice), but maybe that’s because I opted for the 1-hour tour. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it! Mostafa is worth the tip! Other than riding a camel, you may also want to try the quad bike in that location so your experience isn’t boring.

We were unsure about a camel ride at all, as we didn’t want to see any animals being mistreated or badly kept. But we were reassured by reviews and decided to go for a one-hour ride. It was an excellent choice and we had a great time. We didn’t see any evidence at all of bad treatment. As it was only an hour trip, the scenery wasn’t very inspiring, but we did get down to the beach. The guide was good at taking photos and we were offered mint tea back at the stables.
