We felt really lucky. We had not one but two tour guides on our private tour of Évora. We appreciated both Joao and Paolo’s Knowledge of the history of the area. We took several other private tours while in Portugal, but we felt we got a real look at the culture and even learned some Portuguese during the tour. Loved having the chance to go to the local farmers market to buy local cheese, breads, and produce. We were glad to get out into the countryside to see the cork, animals and the ancient historic sites!

Packed day full of variety and lead by really informative Guides.

We knew roughly what we would be seeing in Evora but the day proved even more interesting. So many different historical time scales. The Megaliths/Dolmen/Stone Circles. Roman, Medieval etc. Guides very easy to get on with and well informed. A great day, very relaxed , even although the weather wasn't great. If we had more time we would do another tour. Would certainly recommend this to our friends. Many thanks.

Great tour. Our guide went above and beyond the n normal tour of the megaliths. We saw many more stones then the regular tour. He knew how interested our group was in pre historic Portugal. The stop at Evora was wonderful too. The restaurant he picked was perfect. Great job!!!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. His English was pretty good and we have no problem understanding him.

Joao is an awesome tour guide. Very knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed every bit of our tour.
