What people are saying about Evora

Guide Eduardo was extremely knowledgeable, courteous & professional!!

Guide Eduardo was terrific. Ruins of Evola were fascinating and well worth the trip. The cathedral had a wonderful view of the city from the roof. The Franciscan Church was a nice surprise and a highlight of the buildings from the tour. We also enjoyed a nice Portuguese lunch and the wine tour and tasting. We learned a lot about Portuguese wine and olive oil. We were surprised to learn that there are different olive oils with different properties and tastes- even extra virgin olive oil!

Rushed, but great to experience more of Portugal.

Evora is a difficult place to get to by public transport from Lisbon so this tour was a great way to it. Evora is a small town with lots to see. I didn't go on the lunch and was glad because I got to spend the time exploring the town centre. The wine tasting was very rushed and it was in a local shop, not very atmospheric. Overall, it felt a bit rushed in the monuments but was a great way to experience more of Portugal.

Joana was such a nice guide! She walked us through both the history of Évora and the megalithics always smiling and providing us with lots of information. The tour is very nice and relaxing and on our way back we also get to cross the Vasco Da Gama bridge, which was a welcomed bonus. The Bone Chapel is definitely worth the visit.

This was the first tour on our vacation and we have a perfect day in Evora with a delicious lunch. Our guide was very helpful and accommodating when our schedule had changed as well. Would recommend this tour.

An excellent day. Well structured with the right amount of time in each place. Informative but not overbearing driver/guide. Would have scored excellent if you could have turned the wind factor down!
