It was a very enjoyable ride on a beautiful day. It was a long day & that was expected. There were stops for bathroom breaks & stretching your legs along the way & also opportunities to view & take pictures of the spectacular landscape. Our guide, Dave was extremely knowledgeable & very personable & shared many tidbits of info along the way. Lunch was fun! The mosquitoes appear to rival ours in Minnesota. I have a whole new respect for the men & women who drive The Dalton regularly. We were quite surprised at how warm the weather was & thoroughly enjoyed the day.

The experience is unique and worth doing. Having lived in Sweden and having visited Iceland, visiting the Arctic Circle from Northern America, was a meaningful target. You get to see plenty of unusual landscapes. Jake is very knowledgeable and provided answers to all questions we had. Probably if the fly visitors on one direction would be a more efficient a way of doing this trip.

Dave our guide was great! We’re so glad we had this experience. The stew was a fun treat for lunch. Be advised that this is a LONG trip with large stretches of not a lot going on and no cell service so be prepared! Bring puzzle books, card games or a talkative travel companion!
