Meet your driver at your hotel or riad in the morning and start your journey crossing the High Atlas Mountains towards Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. After a guided walk in the village, continue to Ouarzazate for a leisurely lunch. In the early afternoon, travel northeast to Boumalne Dades. Day 1: Fes, Ifrane, Medilt, and Merzouga Departing from Fes you will begin your ascent through Ifrane, a winter ski resort in a totally un-Moroccan style which was built by the French in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss village. It was an absolutely amazing experience! We had a blast with the driver/tour guide Driss, who went above and beyond for us to make the most of the trip. He was extremely kind, helpful, knowledgeable about anything we would ask, and his positivity and the time spent together during long drives definitely made our trip 200% more memorable and enjoyable! The sunset/sunrise at the dessert was magical and we also really enjoyed staying at the dessert camp. Dinner was absolutely amazing, the camp fire/music/dance was so much fun, and the tent was extremely comfortable with a big bed and private bathroom/shower. It was also a big plus to get to know other travelers from all over the world at the camp! Thank you so much for your hospitality and flexible arrangements/accomodations and we wish you all the best!

Great way to travel from Marrakech to Fez!!! The overnight stay to the dessert was definately the highlight of the trip. Remember to bring warm clothes because it is freezing during the night. Our hosts were really freindly and we enjoyed our night their. The last day was a bit more tiring and it would be ideal to have a bigger vehicle for the people that we were. Overall a great activity and a memory to hold from Morocco!

Great experience. Omar, our driver and guide was very nice and friendly. He made sure we were well taken care of and even invited us to his house for tea and snacks. The places we were brought to as well were beautiful and picturesque. Sahara desert at sunset, nighttime, and sunrise is a view you cannot miss.

My adventure in the desert was an unforgettable experience! However, it is really cold in the desert at night in winter. Don't forget to bring a thick jacket.
