Make the most of your time in Florence with a 3-hour tour of the most important sites and monuments. Meet your guide at your hotel in Florence and explore the Piazza della Republica, where the ancient Roman Forum originally was. Walk to Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of the city and listen to the history of the Florentine Republic, the Medici family and the Palazzo Vecchio. Admire the sculptures that make this piazza one of the most famous in the world. Proceed to the Ponte Vecchio and admire its jewellery, and hear the unique history of the Vasari Corridor, passing above it. Arrive at the Pitti Palace which was once the private residence of the grand dukes and admire its splendour. Continue your walk though the Oltrarno, the bohemian area of Florence full of artists, workshops and lovely cafes. Cross the Ponte Santa Trinita and stop for a stunning picture to the Ponte Vecchio from this side. Continue along Via Tornabuoni, the fashion designer street where you will be amazed by the beautiful windows. Pass through Palazzo Strozzi's courtyard and admire the essence of the Renaissance architecture. Continue your walk to the Duomo, and admire the Cathedral, Brunelleschi's Dome and the Baptistery. Lines at the entrance of the Cathedral can be very long, and there is no possible way to skip them, so the guide will decide with you at the moment what you want to do according to the time you have at your disposal. Walk to the Accademia, and enjoy skip-the-line entrance to see the original Michelangelo's David and the Prisoners. Your guide will tell you of the secrets of the statues and Michelangelo's life. We had a private family tour of Florence visiting the David. Everything went wonderfully. We got a great tip for a multi-storey car park before we arrived, and our guide Valerie picked us up nearby. She had (from our point of view) unbelievable knowledge of art history and history and excelled with detailed knowledge and exciting stories. With her empathetic and friendly manner, she was able to cast a spell over the children, so that the 3-hour walk flew by. We didn't have to wait 2 minutes for "David" and got to know him from all sides. It was excellent, everything was super organized and we can only recommend Valerie and "get your guide" again and again. Exploring a city is always a lot of fun!

The tour lady got really upset because we wanted to see more of the highlights instead of knowing more about her side of history since the things we wanted to know she did not collaborate with us she also decided not to talk at all and was not communicated with the organizers of the event, which was me … she was not very kind
