This tour was absolutely the most incredible tour we have taken in our over 2 weeks in Italy. Cortona was a beautiful town and worth the 1 hour stop there. Getting a full guided tour of the stunning town Assisi, learning the rich history and exploring St Clare’s Church and the St Francis Basilica, getting to pray at the final resting places of St Clare and St Francis and experiencing the incredible frescos and artwork closeup is an experience that we will cherish forever. The added bonus of stopping to explore the Basilica of St Mary of the Angels and its incredible “church within a church” just left us awestruck. Book this trip and enjoy an experience of a lifetime.

These Tuscan towns are breathtaking, I need to win the lottery to move here and enjoy the beauty, the people, the history, culture, charms and love these towns have to offer. Barbara was a wonderful guide who was always very attentive to our needs. Katia our local tour guide in Assisi is a great person. The visits to Cortona and Assisi we're very good. Our leader Roberto was kind, experienced, knowledgeable, efficient. Our bus had problems from the beginning with shocks and seemingly difficulty rocking back and forth. We made it to Assisi and then it broke down completely. Those things happen, but despite Roberto's fierce effort it still took almost 2 extra hours for the tour company to get a new bus there. The company could have been a bit more responsive. Roberto, however, was great! We would recommend this experience to other travelers.
