Full description

Join an adventure to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Cinque Terre. Explore these 5 secluded villages built onto seaside cliffs, connected to one another only by paths, boats, or trains. Your trip begins early in the morning when you’ll meet your guide in Florence to begin the picturesque drive to the first village. Along the way, your guide will give you a thorough introduction to the region. After you arrive, the rest of the day’s activities are up to you. With the whole day free, it’s up to you as to where you go or how you spend your time. Take a scenic boat or train transfers to the 4 other villages of Riomaggiore, Vernazza, Monterosso al Mare, and Corniglia. Wander the cobblestone streets and marvel at the closely-packed, pastel-colored houses rising up from the coast. Head down to one of the many stunning beaches for white sand and crystal clear waters. Or enjoy a leisurely Italian lunch, overlooking the dramatic cliffs. After a full day hopping between the charming villages, you’ll board the bus for the journey back to Florence.

Very nice circuit to discover the Cinque Terres. We were very well supported by Tabata Lilo and Junko. However, the time dedicated to the visit of each village is very very limited (45 minutes for some) which hardly leaves time to see ... Very frustrating! Small reservation also on the restaurant included, the Tiramisu comes out of an industrial box (seen by going to the toilet) and the portions are very small. I was always hungry when I left .. :(. I will not resume the included meal if it were to be done again. There are so many good restaurants in Italy! It's a shame ...

This trip is well worth it but you have to keep up a fast pace to ensure you meet the train schedules. Our guide, Edward, was very good with “herding” us around and did a great job as a guide too. There was a young woman, in our group, who obviously was interested in Edward and he did a good balancing act with her creeping in for more attention and tending to us. An exhausting day but worth every minute!

      Good tour

The tour was good, would have liked a little more time at the beach. It was hard to find a washroom to use as well and there wasn't a lot of time to stop when there was a bathroom. Other than that the tour was great and our guide Edgar was great!
