Full description
Explore the beautiful Everglades and discover the variety of wildlife in the area. Start your adventure with a 30-minute airboat tour of the Florida Everglades. Your tour will be guided by experienced captains who will tell you tales during the tour of how the Seminole and the Florida panther once coexisted in this lush wilderness. You will also catch a glimpse of endangered wildlife as you skim across the glassy water. Your adventure will include a visit to the Exotic Wildlife exhibit, which strives to educate and enlighten the public about endangered species such as the Florida panther, leopards, wolves, and even some surprise smaller mammals. A separate organization brings a variety of animals to the park each day to visit and the handlers are happy to answer any questions about these gentle animals. Take a walk on the wild side back in time with an original dinosaur – the Florida alligator. The reptile exhibit features dozens of species both native and exotic to Florida. Along with the friendly turtles and iguanas, you can learn about Cannibal – the 1,000-pound alligator. The handlers are happy to demonstrate how these animals live and survive in the wild. There is also a variety of monitors and rescued exotic snakes, and you will also have the chance to hold a baby alligator.

Prepare to get a little wet!

The boat ride was great fun. We did get a little wet when the driver was doing slides across the water! Our tour guide was knowledgable and had a good sense of humour. We learnt loads about alligators and the Everglades habitat. It’s well worth a drive off the coast. If you are going with a family over meal times I would take a pic nic.

Super Fun

Wasn’t sure how this was going to go but decided since I was in Florida we had to do it. The air boat ride was really fun and our “captain” was knowledgeable as only a local can be, Captain Disco was funny and informative. The shows highlighting indigenous endangered species was again informative and entertaining. Learning about the Everglades took the mystery therefor the fear out of these amazing animals. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Nice airboat trip

Very nice airboat trip over mirror clear water with view of aligators. Also, after the trip, you can make a photo of you holding little baby aligator in the zoo. No set price - only tip for animal care. The only thing I didn't like was the photo of you with the airboat. Digital version costs $20 for 1 picture. I think it's a little too expensive.
