Visiting Pompeii and Vesuvius was an amazing and unforgettable experience without any doubt. Anyone who will go to Naples should visit those two places. Our tour guide Francesca, from the other hand, even though gave us all the infos that we needed to learn about Pompeii , was rude and not too easy to communicate especially in the beginning. It was our first time there we knew nothing about where to go or what to do and yet I wanted to ask a question and all I got back was to ignore me. So after that i didn't have much joy in listing to her. Another than that eveything was more than amazing!

Well organized tour and well priced. My only recommendation is to allow more time for Mt. Vesuvius. Having only one hour to climb and descend was not enough time for us to fully aprreciate it.

We have taken a private guided tour, which is a real advantage compared to “small guided tours”. Corrado was an Excellent guide. Through the previous helpful rating comments I could tell more about this tour than the actual description of it. The description in my opinion should tell you that you are only picking up the tickets in Sorrento and that you then take the train by yourself. Arrived in Pompei we had to wait for 40min (they told us 20) for the tour to start. So I am not sure why you actually have to choose a time for it, because it anyway seems fairly random to me. They just wait until they have a bigger group together. And the group was big. Over 20 people. the most important thing though is, that the tour itself was really good. It was really at least 2 hours long (counting from the time you actually leave with the guide) and the tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. So at the end it was worthwhile.

The guided tour of Pompeii was exceptionally great and I would highly recommend it to anyone: Our guide Gaetano led us through the excavations with both knowledge and wit and you really noticed how well he knows his stuff. In addition, his German was excellent and he treated us all very warmly, as if we were old friends. An excellent, informative and entertaining tour!

Beautiful experience. Wonderful Pompeii but you need a professional guide like in our case Elisa very good. Vesuvius there are no words unique emotion there is a lot to walk uphill but it's worth it

Enjoyable day out. Was only so much of Pompeii you could cover, but it was informative. View from Vesuvius was spectacular.
