The shrine enshrines 12 deities, led by Takeiwatatsu-no-Mikoto, the grandson of Emperor Jimmu, and is recognized as an important cultural property of Japan. Visitors can admire its elegant architecture and experience the sacred atmosphere of this historic site. End your day at Kurokawa Onsen, a tranquil hot spring village nestled in the serene mountains of Kyushu.
