Full description

From Funchal, head to Serra d'Agua, a valley at the center of the island. Afterward, take a nice off-road drive with fantastic views over Porto Moniz, Ribeira da Janela, Paul da Serra, and São Vicente. Then, have a fabulous experience with a very important wine producer in Madeira, enjoying a guided tour through the vineyards, followed by wine tasting. Enjoy a professional explanation about traditions, wine culture, and wine production given by an oenologist. Finally, move on to Cabo Girão, the highest cliff in Europe and second in the world at 589 meters, known for its suspended glass floor balcony that offers a spectacular panoramic view over the Atlantic, Câmara de Lobos, and Funchal.

Activity was great, off road drive to the vineyard was fun but the value for money was a little steep, we had to pay for Cabo Girao (only €2) a few small glasses of wine in the vineyard tasting then we were taken back to our accommodation, the tour is supposed to be 4 hours and wine tasting , it was 3 hours total driving just off road and an hour ish at the vineyard

Gil was a great guide giving lots of interesting information on Madeira and its people. He took us off the beaten track with many opportunities to take pictures. The wine tasting was also a very nice experience and we really enjoyed the trip. Definitely recommended.

Awesome afternoon with Rui, great travel guide have us lots of info about the island and was super enthusiastic. The off-road bit was simply superb a lot of fun stood up through the roof and the views fantastic- then the stop at the vineyard was really nice, impressive set up, informative and very generous with the wine tasting - overall really great experience and great value for money
