Briefly the dates for the tour, what exactly is done there has already been described often enough. It's about 13 km, not counting the longer breaks, it took us about 3 hours and 20 minutes. On the tour you have to climb a little more stairs (about 170), the rest of the tour is almost flat or it goes downhill.

A really worthwhile tour of old Funchal. Our guide was very engaging and very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Learnt a lot which we wouldn't have done on our own. Helped to get our bearings on our first visit to Funchal. Would recommend.

Our guide João Carlos was brilliant, detailed and very knowledgeable & super funny The hike to the waterfall and fountains was very easy and beautiful. Will definitely do this hike again in the winter to see the waterfall at its full potential

The tour to the 25 springs was very nice and there were breathtaking views. However, you should be good on foot, as the guide sets a good pace. You should also think of a flashlight

It was chaotic in the morning to find the guide, but after 15 min running around finding the collage and the group it was very pleasant . She was very informative and fun !
