  • Geneva: Gruyères Gold Tour with Train Ride & Tastings

    1. Geneva: Gruyères Gold Tour with Train Ride & Tastings

Admire breathtaking landscapes of Gruyères. At the top of the hill, breathe pure mountain air and hear cowbells in the pasture. Enjoy authentic Alpine cheese making and suddenly become expert in (Swiss) cheese fondue by preparing it yourself. The chocolat factory visit starts around 10:45 AM and ends at 12:00 PM. After the visit you will go to a traditional restaurant from about 12:20 to 2pm where you will taste different kinds of local cheeses, dried meat and sausage, and enjoy the fondue dish and a small local dessert. Then you will have free time in Gruyères village from about 2:15 PM to 3:00 PM and then we will take you to the Golden Pass train in Montbovon at 3:28 PM. Relax in a comfortable ride aboard the famous Golden Express train overlooking magnificent views over Lake Leman.

Fantastic!! Yvonne, our seasoned veteran guide, kept us entertained and giving us great information. The chocolate was delicious, the fondue was also just as delicious and the scenery throughout the whole thing was spectacular!!!

  • Geneva: Chocolate Tasting & Gruyères Medieval Village Tour

    2. Geneva: Chocolate Tasting & Gruyères Medieval Village Tour

Enjoy a full-day tour of the town of Gruyères, located in the upper valley of the Saane River, and sample some of its famous food produce, alongside a visit to the chocolate factory and the Lavaux region.  Just outside Gruyères lies Broc, where you will tour the Cailler choclate factory and taste between 20-30 different chocolates and pralines (although you can decide how long the tour lasts and how much you want to taste!) Departing from Geneva, travel across country to Gruyères on the opposite side of Lake Geneva. Admire breathtaking landscapes of the surrounding mountains and valleys along the way. Breathe in the pure mountain air, and listen to the sound of cowbells in the pastures.

A very well organised trip and when you're visiting Switzerland, a look-see into the workings of a world-class chocolate factory and a cheese farm experience are a no-brainier !

Best tour ever. Z was a super tour guide! He was very communicative and gave great advice and suggestion! Z made us all feel so welcome and gave us lots of interesting information about Interlaken! I would highly recommend this trip! Thank you so much Z for such an amazing and accommodating day!

Guide was amazing! So many in our group not paying attention or listening to her meeting times or locations. She did a great job trying to babysit those that needed it.
