This was a fun & quick trip to Annecy! A great way to explore somewhere new without the hassle of having to rent a car. Our guide was nice and we learned a few things along the way. She gave us info on the bus and a quick tour of the area (while walking up the hill to the castle). Then we were able to break off and explore on our own. My husband and I walked around the town, went into shops, went to the park, and got lunch & some amazing ice cream! Definitely worth the trip!

The bus ride was perfect and Gabriel -the tour guide- was very polite and nice but... talked WAY much. He talked nonstop for 40 minutes about nonsense really (no one will rent apartments in Annecy). About 20% was useful and 80% was headache matedial. Annecy is beautiful super scenic. But the bus arrives there at 10 when almost everything is still closed. Very awkward time. You cant even get lunch..

This was a pretty basic 1/2 day tour - mostly a way to get to Annecy from Geneva. We left at 9 am and arrived at 10-10:30. At that point we had 2.5 hours to explore before we were to meet back at the bus at 12:45. Don't expect more than is being offered, but for what it was it was fine. I was alone so I could see the town pretty quickly (it's small) but if you're with friends and looking to take your time and have a nice meal, you should book a longer tour. One highlight on the way back was getting to stop and walk across a cool, castle-lookng bridge :)
