Full description

Embark on an unforgettable journey that combines history and multiculturalism with duty-free shopping, impressive caves, and the famous monkeys of Gibraltar. Depart Seville and journey to the frontier to cross the border of the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar and visit Punta de Europa, mainland Europe's southernmost spot.

Look across the Strait of Gibraltar to where the vast continent of Africa begins. Take some souvenir photos of the coastlines of Spain and Morocco from the top of the Rock of Gibraltar. Then, visit the amazing limestone caves of San Miguel and admire the numerous stalactite and stalagmite formations. Next, meet the Barbary monkeys of Gibraltar, a unique breed from Europe that, according to legend, are a sign the British will not leave as long as the monkeys are still there. Enjoy some free time for lunch and do some duty-free shopping on Main Street, known worldwide for its low-priced jewelry, watches, electronic items, spirits, cosmetics, and perfumes. There are also plenty of bars and cafés, offering a wide selection of delicious options for visitors.

I traveled with a 9 year old and 1 year old. Petra was very helpful with having a car seat already secured on the bus so we didn’t have to bring ours. They also helped to stow our stroller and make arrangements to carry it on the bus up the mountain. So helpful. Thank you so much.

A well organised day, with plenty going on. Caves were spectacular. View point from the rock was amazing. Seeing the monkeys was the lowlight because we got 10 minutes were with them. The general guided information was very informative. The main guide was very passionate and formative, but did NOT STOP talking. Coach was comfy, but driver was veering all over the road. You are very rushed, so I don't recommend the day-trip. Generally, the trip was misleading, because you go to see the MONKEY'S!

Loved St. Michael’s cave and the apes on the mountain. The guide spoke a little too quickly and, with his broken English, it was sometimes difficult to hear/understand him. On the way to the ROG we stopped for a bathroom break but we did not stop on the way back so make sure you use the restroom before heading back to Seville. It was a nice day but a little pricey.
