Full description

On this 4-hour Gibraltar package, begin on a dolphin cruise onboard a yellow catamaran. You will have a personal multi-media guide as well, included in your ticket price. Expert guides provide live commentary and a marine biologist describes everything that you’ll encounter. Learn about dolphins and we can protect these special creatures. They are sighted on 99 percent of the tours.

At times, you can see pods of 40 to 500 dolphins. Watch common, striped, and bottlenose dolphins swim up to the boat and play. They sometimes put on a spectacular display of leaps directly at your feet.

Tours depart 4 times each afternoon from Marina Bay, where you can relax and soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere both before and after your trip. Each tour takes in breathtaking views of both the African and European coastline and the legendary Pillars of Hercules.

One of Gibraltar's highlights is riding to the top of the Rock by cable car, the best location to spot the famous Barbary apes. A pack of wild apes, the famous Barbary macaques, will give you an entertaining acrobatics performance. Hide all plastic bags to avoid robbery and keep a friendly distance, especially if the young ones are around.

Relax with a beverage and light snack while enjoying the spectacular vistas. The Top of the Rock Souvenir Shop is also packed with unique gifts unavailable in town. From the terraces of the top station, gaze over the town below, look north towards the Sierra Nevada over the Costa del Sol and east over the blue Mediterranean Sea, and take in the views south across the Strait of Gibraltar to the Rif Mountains of North Africa. You’ll have views of 2 continents, 3 countries, and the meeting point of 2 great bodies of water! You'll be able to appreciate why so many wished to conquer this small isthmus and why it played such an important part in world history.

Did not see any dolphins on this occasion but they gave us complimentary tickets for another boat trip, the cable car is just that you have to pay extra to see the monkeys on the rock, we missed the last cable car down (17:45) which is a little early if truth be told, so had to walk back down the rock, fortunately this is where we saw the monkeys

Great outing at sea to see many dolphins. Very nice atmosphere on board the boat. Our boat was dolphin friendly. To go take the cable car, the lady who gives the tickets called us a taxi because we were too tight for the timing by going there on foot. Very nice activities, to do or redo.

The staff is very friendly and gives a lot of information on the dolphins but also on the whales and swordfish that can be observed in other seasons, but above all, the dolphins are really numerous around the boat or surfing on the big waves created by a ferry. It's quite wonderful!
