Full description

Meet your guide in Glasgow and start your journey by visiting Glengoyne, a distillery boasting a lovely location and a unique way of distilling whisky.

Discover the simple, yet magical process of making whisky from barley, water, and yeast. Every stage of Glengoyne's production is unhurried , resulting in a deliciously sweet and fruity whiskey that is a true pleasure to taste. A tasty pub lunch awaits you in Balloch, a village in the countryside. This charming place is the gateway to Loch Lomond, so be sure to take walk to the shores of the loch before you head towards the second distillery of the day. After a day filled with mountain air, lochs, and forests, travel back to Glasgow’s Clydeside Whisky Distillery. Located in the famous Queen’s Dock, this state-of-the-art distillery brings the production of single malt back to the city. Take a tour and see how this whiskey is distilled from grain to glass.

After a relaxed afternoon visit here you return to Buchanan Bus Station with the stories and flavors of single malt whisky fresh in your mind.

We really enjoyed our tour! It was a perfect combination between nature, being outside, exploring the area around the city centre and learning more about the whisky made in Scotland, Glasgow. The tour guide, Ben, was driving us around and gave great tips to further explore the city. Overall a great experience!

I took my grandson on this trip and we both loved it. It was so well organised and everything ran smoothly from start to finish This was all down to Ben who was out guide and driver. He knew his stuff and passed it onto us. The mini bus was really comfortable and spacious.

My friend and I had the most amazing day with our tour guide (Fraser)! It was a spectacular tour and I’d recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Loch Lomond and a whisky distillery. We learned a lot of interesting history and saw some amazing sights. Thank you!
