Granada was lovely. Be sure to walk to the end of the river walk, turn left briefly up the hill and enter into the "church" on the right to get good photos of Alhambra from the gardens. We tried some lovely chilled Hortchata from Helados la Perla on the way back (very healthy, fights against cancer, cholesterol etc). Then enjoyed a delicious tapas lunch washed down with Vermut and sangria - very refreshing! Alhambra is very impressive. A lot of walking outside so be sure to have a cap and use plenty of sunblock. The info says no backpacks but you actually are allowed a small one which at one stage only you have to wear front wise to protect the artifacts etc.

The bus guides spoke just enough, in English and Spanish. They took us first to the center of Granada (1 hour and a half, with 2 hours it would have been better since we had to have lunch), and then we went 3 hours to the Alhambra, which seemed to me the right time to explore it well. The guide inside the Alhambra super clear!

Pleasant tour to the Alhambra in Granada from Malaga. First stop on the way to go to the bathroom and have a snack. Then on to Granada. Along the way I saw snow on the Sierra Nevada. Once we arrived at the Alhambra we walked through a forest into the city for lunch. They were given about 1.5 hours to do this. Then back to the bus to drive back to the Alhambra. We had not been informed in advance that there was passport control at the entrance, so we lost time on this. Nevertheless, I was able to enjoy the views. It is a long and intensive walk, so I recommend good walking shoes!
