We enjoyed our tour and everything about the booking was very good. That said, we had not nearly enough time to do both the gardens and the Palace. Also, had we known about it, we would have immediately headed to the line to rent an electric golf cart. They are in very limited supply and this would have been the way to see all the gardens although hardly enough time to stop and enjoy all of the gardens in detail. The Palace was doable in three to four hours and we enjoyed that although it is a shame that it is so dark in many of the rooms. The paintings are dark as well and the room lighting is bad to horrible. Sometimes the only light comes from large windows which put so much glare on the paintings they are impossible to see. But overall, it is a tour not to be missed. The audio guides provide excellent information and to us were mandatory. Our host was very accommodating and made sure everything ran like clockwork.

Marion was a fantastic guide. We loved learning about the palace. The highlight was the gardens! We loved having a guide tell us about those and then being able to explore more on our own.
Explore the miraculous Palace of Versailles on a full-day sightseeing tour by bike. Meeting at a central location near the Eiffel Tower in Paris, your guide will take you to the nearest RER station, for the quick train trip to Versailles. Once at Versailles, visit the village market to buy baguettes, cheese, ham, wine, or whatever you desire for a picnic lunch, to be held later in the Chateau's gardens. You will then spend most of the day riding in a relaxed fashion through the tree-lined gardens and near the Grand Canal. The average Versailles tourist often doesn't realize that they will only visit a small fraction of the gardens if they go by foot. But on this 8-hour tour, you will see it all. The tour includes round-trip train tickets from Paris to Versailles and back, and all necessary bike equipment, including children's seats, should you require them.
My mom and I loved everything about our day in Versailles! It was easy to meet the group, hop on the train and pick up our bikes. Before heading to the gardens, we had time to browse a local food market and pick up fix-ins for a picnic, which was lots of fun! We then spent the rest of the morning and afternoon exploring the sprawling landscape of Versailles by bike (we saw so much and were able to cover a lot more ground than had we traveled by foot!), pausing along the way to learn about the history of this landmark from our informative guide*. We certainly earned our picnic, which was delightful. At the end of the cycling portion of the day, we skipped the line and were able to experience the rest of the Versailles palace at our own pace. Great value! *I cannot remember our guide's name, but he is English, running the 2019 NYC marathon, and works as a translator for business professionals. Hopefully that will identify him and earn him credit for a wonderful experience!
During this three-hour tour you’ll visit the Petit Trianon, an exquisite private palace set in a luxuriant garden where Marie Antoinette spent much of her time. Over 4 million people annually visit the Palace of Versailles, but for nearly 90% of the visitors the experience is limited to the State Apartments and the distant perspective of the gardens. With your expert and entertaining guide, you have the rare opportunity to really make the period and the personalities come to life by continuing your visit into more exclusive areas. Upon leaving the main palace behind, explore the surprising atmospheres and art hidden in the garden’s many groves. With a diamond-encrusted key, Louis XVI offered his wife Marie Antoinette an escape from the ritualized public life she found so suffocating. This key unlocked the small Petit Trianon palace, sheltered from gossip and criticism, where she could ...

Gabriella kept our group of 4 adults and 9 children engaged throughout the tour with interesting stories about the royal families and the art in the palace. It was fantastic to skip the entrance line and use a separate entrance! Also, the company graciously changed our tour date (even after the change deadline) when I realized I booked the wrong date by mistake. I highly recommend this tour!!
Versailles was a very impressive experience, the Audigide was easy to use. We had the little headphones from the Hop on off Tour with us, so it was very comfortable. We ran a total of 16 km.
Tout so worth it. We were with Laura and she was amazing. Both myself and my 11 year old enjoyed this very informative and entertaining tour. Thank you!
Laura was superb - provided a lot of interesting information. 2.5 Hrs well spent.
Everything fitted. It worked the way it was described
