The Rock City is just across the border and the ride there takes around 1 hour 30 minutes. On this full-day excursion you’ll visit the Karkonosze Mountains, also known as the Giant Mountains, and the fascinating Valley of Palaces and Gardens and unique 19th-century mansions. On this full-day tour you will transfer from Wroclaw to the Stolowe Mountains National Park, a protected area in Poland with amazing rock formations. The mountain trip starts at Karlow village and after 40 minutes ascent you will reach the wonderful “rocky city” on the top of Szczeliniec Wielki, a huge maze of rocks in various shapes. At 919 meters above sea level, this peak is the highest point of the Stolowe Mountains and offers breathtaking views of the Sudety and Karkonosze mountain ranges. After a short break in a mountain shelter you will descend to the famous spa resort of Kudowa Zdroj, where you will walk through the city park and taste the water from different health springs. On the way you will stop at the Skeleton Chapel in Czermna, where the walls and ceiling are made from thousands of human bones and skulls of war and epidemic victims from the18th century. You will then transfer back to Wroclaw.
