Leave Guanacaste for an unforgettable experience. You will be passing through different kind of forest. Dry forest at the beginning; transition forest and rain forest would be seen on the way to the volcano. Bordering de Arenal Lake will be easier to see monkeys, birds, sloths, but also you will enjoy the beautiful sightseeing and landscapes. A short walk through the hanging bridges will introduce you on the interactions of the rain forest, then after lunch you will continue to the hot springs where you will enjoy the curative water and the amazing view of the Arenal volcano, which is now inactive. It is, scientists assure us, still alive; it’s just sleeping.

Our experience was good but we were stood up on the first confirmed date. We were all up at 4 :30 am to meet our bus at 5:30 but no show that day because the driver couldn’t find us. We chose date and enjoyed our day. The hot springs we went to were great but the showers/change rooms lacked cleanliness and most of the showers didn’t work. The fella at the front desk was less than friendly and not very accommodating.
