So it poured rain on the volcano hike, which was A VIBE. But it was more like being in a raincloud than anything else… our guide even said “Um… this is insane.” But was such a trooper. I needed a Gortex jacket instead of my simple rain jacket in the long run- and I was soaked through all 5 of my layers. And I honestly was the best off out of the group. I think bringing rain ponchos as backup would be a HUGE bonus for this guide company. I liked seeing the hot spots and tectonic plates, but I think we would have enjoyed things more if we weren’t all soaked to the bone. Which wasn’t any ones fault and almost everyone had a great attitude. The Blue Lagoon was AMAZING and our guide was awesome getting us in and explaining. I would say that as someone hiking on a volcano I would like to know more facts about it besides “it was national news, I am sure you saw.” And “the water is blue bc minerals.” That would have been the extra mile- but recommend this trip despite any weather!

I took a volcano hike the other day with Kora as our guide. She was very entertaining and took great care of our group. She shared with us her knowledge of the geological forces of volcanos, and she also shared delightful information about the other places we visited, the land bridge and the Gunnuhuver geyser and Valahnukamol, And beyond that she shared general information about Iceland’s culture and history. She was positive and professional. Highly recommended!

Our tour of Fagradalsfjall with Cora was fantastic. The volcano hike was exactly what we expected - we were able to hike to the crater and feel heat emanating from the cracks in the recent lava flows. The extra stops along the Reykjanes Pennisula were very interesting. Highly recommend this tour.

Tour of a different kind. Visit to places that are not so well known and perhaps because of this allow a deeper look into the history and current way of life in Iceland. The weather didn't play along, also typical for Iceland. Great tour with a very knowledgeable guide (Ian).

Our guide was very knowledgeable and took us to other attractions after the hike. Great tour.
