Full description

After meeting your local guide, listen to some general information and historical facts about this small Austrian village. Then, walk to the Badeinsel, an artificial island with a spectacular view of the lake and the historic town center. Take incredible photos which will wow your family, friends, and social media followers. Next, hike up the Salzberg Trail to the Mühlbach Wasserfall until you reach the historic center of the town. Take look at the Bone House of Hallstatt and learn about the unique burial traditions of this region. End the tour by taking in the iconic postcard views of the waterfront and city. During the whole tour, your guide will take complimentary pictures which will be edited and uploaded into a private Dropbox folder on the same day the tour takes place.

Edwin was a brilliant tour guide and photographer. I loved the whole experience of learning about the town, seeing all the hidden spots and taking pictures at all the must do and unique perspectives. It was really comfortable and Edwin gave great guidance on posing and positioning for the awesome candid shots. I can highly recommend this tour, it’s most certainly worth it for the private, local experience and the photos!

Great day and fantastic photowalk with Edwin. He took us all over Hallstatt lovely photo spots which is impossible to make it if we come here as normal tourist. Lucky! Today’s weather is nice therefore the photos turn out to be such a romantic mood and suits to Hallstatt. We must be miss Hallstatt so much every time we see the photos. Thank you Edwin!
