Embark on a lifetime journey and enjoy amazing rides on curvy scenic passes and even single dirt tracks to explore the stunning landscapes of Northeast with waterfalls, rivers, high mountains, and terraces.
Day 1: Head towards Vu Linh village (Thac Ba lake, Yen Bai) 180 km with lunch and dinner included. Start your tour by riding on to dike roads following the Red river to Thac Ba lake. See the beautiful countryside with its rice and green tea fields.
Turn to the little road to Vu Linh village that is populated by Dzao ethnic minority by the side of Thac Ba lake. Meet these very friendly people and enjoy an exceptional welcome. Spend the night at a local homestay.
Day 2: Head towards Ha Giang City for 180 km with 3 meals included.
After breakfast, ride along the Thac Ba lake on a small road lined by palm trees and scenic mountain views to join the main Road 2, heading up to Ha Giang where you will stop for the night and apply for a permit. Stay overnight at a local hotel.
Day 3: Go from Ha Giang to Dong Van (Ha Giang) – offroad tours to Tribal Villages 160 km with 3 meals included.
Wake up to the beautiful morning, on this day you will ride on small challenging mountain roads (but incredibly beautiful) on the land of colorful mountain hill-tribes. Head up the Ma Pi Leng Pass and visit another amazing place, with cloudy mountain ranges and the poetic Nho Que river winding off in the distance. Ride on a zig-zag track until reaching Vuong Family’s Residence, 14 km before Dong Van.
The Vuong Family was considered the King of the Hmong People in Dong Van, Ha Giang. Their residence was built in the scenic valley of Sa Phin with Chinese architecture. Sleep at a local hotel.
Day 4: Head from Dong Van to Ba Be National Park (Bac Kan) via Meo Vac 160 km with 3 meals included.
Cross the wild regions of the mythical province of Ha Giang, Meo Vac is included. It shares the border with Dong Van District of Ha Giang Province and Bao Lam District of Cao Bang Province. Meo Vac has most of the terrain in the Rock Plateau of Dong Van and above 1000 meters above sea level.
Meo Vac has a harsh climate in the winter which is from November to April with dry and freezing cold weather. It is inhabited by different ethnic minorities including the H’mong, the King, Tay, Dzao. Overnight at homestay
Day 5: Ride from Ba Be to Hanoi 230 km breakfast and lunch is included.
After breakfast, take another boat-ride on Ba Be lake to another side, before jumping on our motorbikes to Cho Ra, head up to main Road 3.
Ba Be National Park is an abundant bio reserve area containing the world’s only fresh-water karst lake and several rare species of fauna and flora. And head back to Hanoi.
