At the top of the waterfall, you can visit a war monument, that reminds us of the battles that took here place. However, it is also possible to get up close to the base of the waterfall by taking walking down the old road into the green valley. The next stop is a one-of-a-kind experience. At Steinsdalsfossen waterfall you will have the opportunity to walk behind the waterfall without getting wet. With water thundering down inches in front of you, this is an experience your won't easily forget. Our journey brings continues over one of the 18 scenic roads that Norway has to offer. We will drive alongside the Hardangerfjord and pass by many fruit orchards that thrive thanks to the special local climate. Our stop here gives you the opportunity to take in the view, and make photos. As we leave the Hardangerfjord we arrive at Skjervsfossen waterfall, a beautiful double-drop waterfall of 150 meters. From the viewing platform, you can enjoy an unobstructed view, while at the bottom of the waterfall, you can feel the cool mist landing on your skin. However, the real hidden gem seems to be the restrooms with a view. During this ride, you will get a snack pack with Norwegian food and bottled water. This village is also a great place to wander around, go on a shopping spree, or check out the beach located at lake Vangsvatnet.
