Full description

Get an authentic taste of the wilds of Alaska on this round-trip guided scavenger hunt adventure tour from Healy. Venture off-road through Denali National Park on a side-by-side vehicle to hidden spots and scenic viewpoints as you search for the treasure held in geocaches. Afterward, relax with drinks and a gourmet meal.

After pickup, you and your group will hop in a 6-passenger side-by-side. Let your guide take the wheel as you set out on your adventure into the wild. Enjoy the exhilaration of the ride, and the camaraderie of working together to find breathtaking views, secret locations, quartz and granite rocks, and much more.

Keep your eyes open to spot local wildlife as you explore and hunt for geocaches. A geocache is a hide-and-seek container with hidden treasures inside. When you find a cache, sign your name in the logbook, pick out a treasure to take home, and leave a new one behind for the next adventurers.

Marvel at the spectacular scenery and stop whenever you want to take pictures. After your adventure, recharge with a gourmet meal and your choice of drinks. Enjoy the delicious food and share all the best memories of your day with your group.

The scenery was beautiful and our guide was wonderful. But this was not a "geocaching tour" as described. We were supposedly going to have to hunt for boxes (true geocaching uses coordinates), and we were told in advance that for each one we would take a treasure/leave a treasure. In actuality they basically just drove us up to 3 boxes that had "clues" that weren't really used to go anywhere (no treasures but we did put our own in for others) and at the end there's a tub where you can pick a small item. The food was good but I was under the impression it would be an outdoor picnic. Instead we were in an enclosed building with several other tours all sitting at tables together sharing the bowls family style with strangers. Some of us aren't at that comfort level with covid yet. We knew it would be bumpy and the bumps were mostly fun and adventurous, but some of them were HUGE bumps that kind of cracked our spines and necks and hurt. So I wouldn't recommend to anyone sensitive to that.
