We were warmly welcomed on the catamaran and after a short round of introductions we started. It was a little wavy at first, but you got used to it after a few minutes. One woman was not doing so well, but she was well taken care of and was then able to enjoy the ride. Once at the bay, we were provided with scuba gear, pool noodles, air mattresses, and fishing rods. It was a lot of fun. Snacks and drinks were always available. For dinner we had delicious, fresh fish with vegetables and salad, which the crew prepared for us. Delicious!! At the end you could still enjoy the beautiful sunset and then it was off to the port again. There you could enjoy the rest of the time again and the water was nice and calm there. It was a wonderful trip and I would do it again at any time. (Great as a birthday present) Thanks to the great crew and the unforgettable experience!

A lot better than expected! We were apprehensive of it after reading reviews but it turned out to be a great day! A few things I would recommend/ note for next time: the boat does stop a distance from the island and is approx. 5-10 minutes swim depending on ability, the boat supplies life jackets and floats if you aren’t a confident swimmer (I wasn’t!) so the swim really wasn’t that bad in the end. I would take a waterproof phone case/ bag if you want to take anything onto the island (beach towel, camera, shoes, snacks etc.) as whatever you want to take to the island you need to carry on the swim. Definitely take flip flops/ sandals to wear on the beach as rocks are quite sore on the feet. Overall a brilliant day out and feel like I stroked an item of a bucket list I didn’t even know I had!

The captain, Marcos, was amazing. The spare captain, Vassilis (probably spelled incorrectly) was also great. They are obviously very passionate about their work and that shone through. They looked after us very well, and as well as sailing the boat, gave us all history lessons about the mythological stories behind the island. The food was tasty and plentiful, and we left the boat feeling like friends, rather than customers.

Brilliant experience from start to finish. Would recommend this to anyone who is able to get to Heraklion. Our skippers - Nansy and Marinela - were perfect and made the day go from a 10/10 to a 12/10. We could not thank them enough. Was the best day and we'll remember it forever.

It was a relaxing and fun trip. we have 1.5 hours in the water and 1 hour of lunch and relaxing on the boat. The water was perfect to swim. Marko and Michael were really nice and attentive.
