Spend 2 to 4 hours at sea, depending on how often the sharks visit the boat. Be sure to ask as many questions as you wish. Hop into the cage, which takes 6 people at a time. Each person spends about 20 minutes in the cage. All scuba equipment, including 7 mm wetsuits, is provided – you don’t need a scuba license to cage dive. Really cool experience, and despite us not seeing Great Whites (they told us these are quite rare to see nowadays off the coast in South Africa), we saw 10+ Bronze Whalers (Copper Sharks) which were large and scary while in the cage. The team did a really good job looking after everyone and it felt very organised & safe. The boat trip was only about 15 minutes from the shore, and I'd say we spent just over 2 hours on the boat. I was picked up in Cape Town at 7:10am and returned back at 5:45pm, so it was a long day, but well worth it. Definitely recommend this tour!

Perfect way to see sharks in the wild with a professional crew and respect for the animals. As a participant of the event we were very well looked after by the team and everything was perfectly organized. The team was very knowledgeable about the animals and area and make you feel comfortable. The encounter with the sharks cannot be described by words, but was in one word amazing. Highly advise the tour and organization, Marine Dynamics!

The activity started early as I was in cape town, it was friendly and well organised, the sea was not rough, I think the warnings about sea sickness must realt to very poor conditions, you were quickly close up with big sharks, and a large ray on my trip, the soup after was good. I would recommend White Shark Projects

The actual provider had issues with the boat so he forwarded us to another company (white sharks project). It was very good! Many sharks were there although no white sharks (very seldom in september). We had a light breakfast and a soup afterwards.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day. it was a shame I didn't get to see a Great White but the Brpnze Whaler is a beautiful animal to witness in the wild, got entertained by a seal showing off as well.
