We visited a typical market there. We were really at the heart of the population of the Dominican Republic. The guide Alex was great, he speaks a lot of languages! I really enjoyed the experience! My tour guide Alex and Robin were so kind and answered all of my questions. They took us to many different sites. I recommend doing the longer tour as you get to eat a Dominican lunch which was delicious and visit the beach. We even got to try Dominican rum!!! It’s beautiful seeing the real DR countryside which is more authentic than just staying on the resort. They also pick you up and drop you back off at your hotel. If you want to enjoy life outside of the resort, book with these guys.
