    Depart Ho Chi Minh City early in the morning at around 5:30 AM and relax on the 3-hour drive to Can Tho in the Mekong Delta. Navigate the water channels by boat and make your way to Cai Rang Floating Market to join the hustle and bustle of the locals. Discover how an authentic vermicelli soup dish from Vietnam is made before wandering through the village and meeting some of the locals. Learn how to cross a "monkey bridge" built from a single stem of bamboo. Taste exotic fruit from an orchard garden and visit a rice mill to learn how rice is processed.

    Journey by boat to Ninh Kieu for a delicious lunch by the river before the return drive to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving back at around 5:30 PM.

    Informative and eventful in a very pleasant atmosphere

    The whole tour was just great! Interesting facts and stories about the country, people and more, as well as wonderful experiences, great conversations and exciting encounters all day long. The tour program was implemented perfectly! In addition, Thao, our travel companion, impressed us with her friendly, warm and natural manner. And our driver brought us very safely through the basically chaotic traffic.

    Ok tour but probably best to stay overnight in Mekong...

    The transport was good and we had a good tour guide & driver, group tour would have been fine but we booked very late. We got to the markets at 9am & quite disappointed. Really quiet, few boats and no hustle and bustle we expected at all. The water looked pretty gross too. It was nice to get on one of the boats and eat fresh pineapple though. From there to a fruit orchard; just did a quick walk around and saw very little ripe fruit, maybe bad timing? monkey bridge was fun but then sat and ate some pre-pared fruit with a lots garbage in area behind us, fruit remains/rubbish just thrown in. Seemed a very touristy place! next the rice noodle place; really interesting. we got to help remove a rice pancake and see how it was cut etc. This part was quite short but less touristy which we liked. After that it was back to shore and a long drive the over-top-tourist lunch which was nice but location was like a tourist resort, not out thing at all! had much better tours elsewhere in Vietnam

    Nice one day trip.

    It may be a long day but it’s well worth it. The trip includes side stops of interesting places along the river. Our guide Annie was very good in introducing various culture and history background of Vietnam.
