The Bonorong reserve is full of people who are passionate about their job and the protection of animals. The place is fun for kids who get to feed kangaroos, hug koalas and wombats and see the Tasmanian devils. The location is amazing. However, note that it is very small. It will only take one hour of your time. Still, the visit is worth it and you get to contribute to the life of this wonderful reserve. Do that, followed by a visit to Richmond and you won't regret your tour...!
The carers at this wildlife sanctuary are passionate about the care of their animals. it was so lovely to see them caring for them and showing them to us all . Needed a bit more time though as we only had time to see three animals that day as the carer was very informative about each one. The trip to Richmond was lovely Our driver was well informed and made us all feel relaxed and welcome
It's was very nice to see the famous Tasmanian Devil You see also a lot of kangaroos, koalas and other animals Unfortunately, you stay only one hour inside , it's too short . Than you go visit a little town but I would prefer to stay in the sanctuary .. The guide, Sue, was very friendly and funny :)
When driver Neil picked me up on Saturday, I knew it was going to be a great day. I'd had him 3 times during my visit here to Tasmania. His customer service is A1 and I thoroughly enjoyed Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Thank you once again for making my holiday so special. Kind regards Renee Martin
It was raining which didn't matter too much as Bonorong as I was too enthralled by the kangaroos, but there didn't seem much to do in Richmond. I'm sure the ice cream shop is great when it's warm but that seemed to be about it to do. We all got back on the bus before the allotted time to leave
