I can only recommend the day trip to Cairo by plane. Fast transfer, small group, individual time everywhere with agreed meeting points and WITHOUT annoying market visits. Great organization from A to Z, on site, best guide ever, no queues at the museum, no tourist crowds at the pyramids. There was an insider tip from him for everything. Not to forget his unbelievable specialist knowledge and the gift of bringing you closer to the history of this high culture.

Highly recommended tour if you want to see the most important sights in Cairo in one day! We were picked up at 4am and flew to Cairo at 5am. The guide met us and told us a lot about Kauro on the way into town. Since we still had some time, we visited the oldest mosque in Cairo before we drove to the Egyptian Museum. Then we took a boat across the Nile to the restaurant. After lunch we went to Giza to see the pyramids and the Sphinx. It is absolutely worthwhile to ride the camels to the lookout point, where you can see all the pyramids at the same time. In the evening we could enjoy the view of the pyramids on a roof terrace before we went back to the airport. The visits to the papyrus and perfume shop were ok as the people weren't pushy. Great organization and great guide!

We were picked up at four in the morning and flew to Cairo at six. First we went to a mosque, then to the Egyptian Museum and with a Nile river trip (€ 12) we went for lunch. Later we went to a papyrus museum and then to the pyramids. In the end, we went to a Bedouin factory with oils & fragrances (you don't have to buy anything if you don't want to). Ahmed guided us through the whole day very well and answered all questions. We flew back to Hurghada at 9:30 p.m. and were back in our hotel at around 11:00 p.m. It was a long but very impressive day.
