I went alone on this trip in winter time, you are provided with two layers of water-resistant coveralls, and long as you have a decent pair of gloves, you'll soon forget how cold the weather is. I found that our guide gave us lots of information about the types and number of whales in the area as well as some background about the port we departed from, the captain of the ship was able to position the boat in in good places for us to get really close-up to the whales. They also provide a cinnamon bun and a cup of hot chocolate for the journey back to the harbour.

Excellent tour with a great team! We got to see 3 whales so the sea sickness was all worth it ;) Make sure to eat before going out when the sea conditions aren’t great!

It was really a great experience and the guides were just great! So that we could see whales we drove extra far out and were even longer than advertised. As a result, we were lucky and were able to see whales relatively close to our boat. It was a really cool result!

Great experience! Enjoyed tough beautiful scenery. Our guides and captain communicated with other boats to try and find whales for us. I liked the sense of community out there. I appreciated the warm overalls to and hot cocoa too. Nice touch!
