What people are saying about Husavik

The whale watching trip was awesome! The company is great about communication—they needed to move our time up because if bad weather possibly moving in later in the day. They emailed with all details. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. They were very upfront that there would likely be large swells ob the water and offered money back if we wanted to cancel. We chose to go, and I’m so glad we did! The guide on the trip (Christian) was very knowledgeable and approachable. The crew gave us overall suits to help stay warm and dry. I was quite comfortable even though it was a cold, misty morning. Best of all we saw a lot of whales!! And they were really close to the boat! It was breathtaking! The scenery is also stunning and the boat, very cool! Quite an adventure! At the end they give delicious snack of hot cocoa and cinnamon buns as you head back in. I highly recommend this trip—well worth the money! And Husavik is a cute little town with a lot to do in the area.

It was an amazing experience, we were lucky enough to see at least 6-7 whales, some even very close to the boat. The tour is long enough to see whales and I also really enjoyed the guide's explanations. The boat ride itself is also very nice as you are surrounded by the crazy landscapes of the Icelandic mountains. You are provided with a fisherman suit for cold weather and water splashes. It is not highly recommended for those who suffer from seasickness as the weather conditions can sometimes be adverse. Finally, refreshments are also provided on the boat.

Excellent activiy. We had the opportunity to saw some whales, beautful experience. The crew was really nice all the time and at the end the hot cholocate + cinnamon roll was so good!!!!

Beautiful your where we spotted several sperm whales. The trip to Puffin Island is nice too. Very supportive and friendly crew. Highly recommend this trip.

While the boat was shaky, the sights of whales and puffins was worth it. We were served cinnamon rolls at the end of the trip
