After being collected from Place d'Arme at either 9:45AM or 1:45PM, you will travel towards the Island of Orléans to discover the flavors of the area. Located in the Saint Lawrence River, east of downtown Quebec City, you will take part in 5 different tastings at 5 different stops throughout your day. At each stop, you will be able to taste products and discover their stories. Your first stop is to the Chocolaterie Ste Petronille (producer of chocolates, truffles, jams, and ice-cream soaked in chocolate). Your second stop is the Nougaterie of St. Pierre (a producer of nougats and other sweets). Your third stop will be to the Cidrerie Bilodeau (a producer of cider, juice, and apple jelly), with your fourth stop being to the Vineyard of Mitan (a producer of white wines, red wines, and ice wines). Your final stop will be at Tigidou jam makers. Taste the creations cooked from fresh local seasonal berries, always original, natural, and 100% local. You will discover throughout your getaway the drink specialties and dishes of the region, and will also learn more about the history and the beginnings of the colonization in Île d'Orléans. At the conclusion of your tour, you will be taken back to Place d'Arme.

Enjoy a smooth ride on these modern electric bikes that allow you to cycle the island with ease. Before heading out on your ride, you will receive a map with a personalized route to help you discover Île d'Orléans. You also have the option to choose your own route as you go; this is a self-guided tour and the opportunity for discovery is endless. Plan between 3 to 5 hours for your cycling tour, including several stops along the way. Your tour will begin as you depart from Quebec City at 1:00PM. From there you will begin your day visiting 4 vineyards and hearing about product explanations. You will begin with a visit to Domaine de la Source a Marguerite for a 30-minute tour, before moving on to Saint Pierre Le Vignoble. Following 30 minutes touring Saint Pierre Le Vignoble, you will advance onward to la Grange de l'Île and Vignoble du Mitan, spending 30 minutes at each of the sites. Meet your local tour guide at the Motel Ile d'Orleans, close to the island's bridge. Upon arrival, you'll receive detailed safety introduction and the chance to try the electric bikes in the parking lot. Your small group will follow the guide along the sidewalk of Chemin Royal, as there is no bike path on Ile d'Orleans. The tour is about 20 km and will take about 3 hours, taking you to the island's most beautiful village, St. Petronille. The first stop is the Gosselin farm. You'll taste the famous Strawberries of Ile d'Orleans and learn about local agriculture. You'll then visit the gardens of Charles E. L. Porteous' French manor, built in 1898. Your guide will underline the important role this building played through history. Heading further, you'll reach St.Petronille with its picturesque streets. At the Chocolaterie, in the village's heart, take a break from cycling and stroll on the St.Lawrence River's banks instead, enjoying the fantastic view of Quebec's skyline and ice cream dipped in home-made chocolate! Back on the bikes, take advantage of the powerful engine getting on top of the street, where the St. Petronille winery is waiting for you. Here, you can taste some of the island's best wines. Good bikes, the staff working the bike rentals are very knowledgeable about the area. Getting there and back to Quebec City is a challenge without a car but the staff was very helpful in getting us a ride back to the city.

Driver was excellent bus was very cool and comfortable. Destinations we’re worthwhile seeing. Was a really nice way to see the city and country and great history lessons.

Jean was very knowledgeable about the area and has a great sense of humor. We will definitely take another tour with him as our guide.
