2. Imerovígli: Santorini Guided Morning Hike with Food Tasting

Begin your amazing day by meeting your local guide in Imerovigli, one of the three suspended villages of your morning exploration. Appropriately, you’ll start off with a freshly brewed Greece coffee in a traditional wooden-table cafe, pairing it with a homemade local sweet made from fresh fruits straight from its family’s orchard, mingling with locals and admiring superb views over the Aegean Sea. While walking through the footpaths of Imerovigli, the highest of the caldera villages, hear stories about the Lost Atlantis, different conquerors, once-thriving civilizations and ghost fortified towns. Next, you’ll enter the fabulous Firostefani village being expanded along the eyebrow-shaped caldera cliffs of Santorini. Grab an ice-cream on the go and stroll around whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches, and bougainvillea-filled alleys. Afterwards, with your guide by your side, you’ll discover the photogenic Blue Dome of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, the most-renowned postcard location of Santorini. Definitely, a place to blow up your Instagram! Almost noon and it’s time to relax your muscles in a favourite spot where you’ll wake up those taste buds with local seasonal tapas and a freshly-brewed local beer, exclusively produced by using volcanic stones for filtration and local Aegean raw ingredients. Say “Yamas!”, drink a cold sip and enjoy the uninterrupted views to Santorini’s active volcano! This Santorini morning tour comes to an end at scenic Fira, the main island’s town, passing along local artists’ workshops and a deli with Greek products. Don’t forget to ask your local guide for more hints and tips on how to get the best out of your trip to amazing Santorini. How you help the local community by joining this tour: You support local farmers and help preserve Satorini’s culinary traditions by sampling food locally sourced from Santorini and nearby islands. The guide Lazaros was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about everything you could imagine about the island. The walk was beautiful with great stopping points for pictures. I learned so much about the island from history to agriculture. Because we came in the off season (Feb) we had the food at the very end at a beautiful restaurant. The dishes recommended were delicious and things I would have never thought to try. Highly recommend this tour to everyone.

We had a fantastic hike with Stratos as our guide. He was personable and very friendly. His knowledge of Santorini is impressive. You are so lucky to have him on your team. We will highly recommend your company to anyone visiting Santorini because of our wonderful experience.

This was a beautiful walk with stunning views most of the way. Some of it was challenging with hills and uneven surfaces to walk on, so when they say to wear good walking shoes, it’s for good reason. Our guides, Ava and Leah, were excellent and so much fun.

Super great tour guide.. have lots of fun during our hiking trip (hidden spots for photos and also a great spot to view sunset without the crowds) and also gained a lot of knowledge about the history of Santorini

Amazing experience and beautiful views. Our guide, Kostas, was wonderful. Definitely worth it!
