What people are saying about Imlil

STUNNING!! What a fantastic day out and a must for all who visit Marrakech. Our driver Hassan was prompt at our agreed meeting point and we instantly felt at ease with him. He explained the day itinerary and set about taking us into the Atlas Mountains and Imlil. A number of stops along the way to take in the scenery (and photos) we arrived in Imlil and met out guide Ibrahim. After a short trek into the hills we were able to appreciate the scenery and also the community of the villages and their reliance on the streaming water that comes from the mountain range including Toubkal. Ibrahim was considerate to our needs and even invited us into his family home for a drink (tea). A trek to the waterfall and descent into the main village was excellent and was enhanced by Ibrahim's local knowledge. A fantastic lunch was provided and for us was the best meal in Morocco especially with the stunning scenery. The trip back included a camel ride. Thank you Hassan & Ibrahim - highly recommended. 5*

This was a wonderful and personal small group excursion to the villages of the Atlas Mountains in the morning followed by a drive through the Agafay Desert back to Marrakech in the evening. The food (including a delicious three course Moroccan lunch in one of the villages) throughout the day was amazing. Our two guides over the day, Abdul and Ibrahim were so lovely and looked after us so well. A fantastic experience.

Great experience! The High Atlas is incredible, well worth a visit and so easy to get to from Marrakech. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend visiting the desert. It adds on quite a bit of driving and it isn’t quite the Sahara experience. I’d say spend more time in the mountains

This tour is recommended, breakfast at the arganoil farm, nice walk through the atlas mountains, our guide Abdul was very helpful, we also drank tea at his home, nice to see more of the Berber families. Camel ride was also nice, nice views over the desert

Really helpful guides, full of knowledge and a really good day out.
